BRASSROOTS accepts a limited number of out-of-town engagements. Most of our musicians are music educators and teachers so time is limited for traveling to other communities. In the past, however, the ensemble has performed at the Great America Band Festival in Danville, Kentucky, twice at the great Canadian Town Band Festival, the Uxbridge Performing Arts Festival, the Guelph Spring Festival, the Kincardine Summer Festival, The University of Western Ontario and Laurier University, and has presented its unique brand of music-making in Barrie, Chatham, Goderich, Kincardine, Kitchener, Niagara Falls, Orono, St. Thomas, Strathroy, Sudbury, Toronto and West Lorne. BRASSROOTS has also been featured in a CBC broadcast. The ensemble has also performed at the Ontario Music Educators’ Association (OMEA) Conference.
